Jujutsu Infinite weapons come from several different routes: ordinary chests, Clan Head promotion, investigation chests, boss raids, map spawns and seasonal rewards. Some investigation and raid weapons also have crafting recipes, letting you work toward a named tool with its corresponding materials. Choose the weapon first, then follow its specific source; opening unrelated chests is not a substitute for the documented route.
This guide covers nine weapons whose developer cards were reviewed on October 26, 2026. It is a practical acquisition index, not a claim to list every weapon in the game. The reviewed evidence supports routes and selected traits, but does not establish a current objective weapon tier list or tested damage comparison.
01
Start with the route you can actually follow
For an initial weapon, Rusty Katana is documented as a Common chest drop. Slaughter Demon offers a different kind of target: reach Grade 3 through Clan Head promotion to receive it. That distinction matters because promotion gives you a named progression objective, while a chest drop still depends on receiving the item.
If you already run investigations or boss raids, look for a weapon tied to that activity. Dragon Bone belongs to Cursed School Investigation, for example, while Playful Cloud belongs to Sorcerer Killer Boss Raid. The beginner progression guide explains the broader progression loop before you commit to an equipment target.
Our editorial recommendation is to pick one documented route you can access and track its materials. This is an acquisition recommendation: it does not imply that the easiest weapon to pursue deals the most damage.
02
Compare the reviewed weapon sources
Use the linked developer card for the item you want. “Special Grade” below is the documented item classification; it is not a verified drop probability or a combat score.
| Weapon | Documented acquisition | Alternative route or useful distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Rusty Katana | Common chest drop | One-Two and Blade Spin scale with Strength |
| Slaughter Demon | Grade 3 Clan Head promotion reward | Slide Slice and Demon Chop scale with Strength |
| Dragon Bone | Special Grade Cursed School Investigation chest drop | Craft with Cursed School Keys |
| Viscera Scythe | Special Grade Tokyo Subway Investigation chest drop | Craft with Tokyo Subway Keys |
| The Impossible Dream | Special Grade Detention Center Investigation chest drop | Craft with Detention Center Keys |
| Playful Cloud | Special Grade Sorcerer Killer Boss Raid drop | Craft with Heavenly Chains |
| Split Soul | Special Grade Soul Curse Boss Raid drop | Craft with Transfigured Humans |
| Inverted Spear of Heaven | Possible map spawn | May also appear in the Curse Market |
| Hellsplitter | Halloween 2026 Undead Monarch chest reward | Seasonal Black Market exchange |
The investigation names are part of the route, not interchangeable labels. A Tokyo Subway target and a Cursed School target require different keys, even though both have a documented crafting option.
03
Use crafting to make material progress
The Crafting card places the crafting station at spawn. It explains that investigation keys make corresponding investigation rewards, while boss materials make corresponding boss rewards. Crafting therefore provides an alternative to relying on the item itself dropping during eligible activities.
| Target | Documented recipe |
|---|---|
| Dragon Bone | 200 Cursed School Keys |
| Viscera Scythe | 200 Tokyo Subway Keys |
| The Impossible Dream | 200 Detention Center Keys |
| Playful Cloud | 100 Heavenly Chains |
| Split Soul | 100 Transfigured Humans |
Before spending materials, compare the selected recipe with your intended weapon. Similar costs do not make materials interchangeable. Keep the drop route and crafting route together in your plan: they concern the same named reward, but only the recipe gives the concrete material target shown here.
These figures come from the reviewed item cards. Check the station before committing your materials, especially after an update; the source review did not include a live crafting transaction.
04
Find Inverted Spear of Heaven through its own routes
Inverted Spear of Heaven does not have one of the investigation-key recipes listed above. Its developer card says it may spawn around the map and that Item Notifier can reveal its location. The same card also documents a possible Curse Market exchange.
Treat “may appear” as conditional availability. The evidence does not establish that the market always stocks it, and it does not provide a verified fixed map-spawn schedule. A plan based on an exact timer or guaranteed current exchange price would go beyond the reviewed information.
If you are comparing an exchange with another acquisition route, first inspect the actual market offer. Keep currency and trade decisions separate from assumptions about weapon strength; the trading guide covers the documented trading boundaries without assigning invented market values.
05
Read weapon traits without inventing a ranking
All nine weapon cards reviewed here document Strength scaling for their listed moves. Rusty Katana specifically names One-Two and Blade Spin; Slaughter Demon names Slide Slice and Demon Chop. Those are supported traits you can use when checking how an acquired tool fits your character.
Strength scaling alone cannot establish which weapon wins a fight. The dossier does not contain comparable damage tests, timing measurements or controlled PvP results. It also does not support adding effects to a weapon merely because those effects would fit its name or its inspiration.
For your own comparison, inspect the moves available on the tools you own and try them against the same kind of encounter. That is an editorial testing suggestion, not a claim that this guide performed those tests. Keep your preferred moves separate from any assertion about universal DPS superiority.
06
Equip tools and understand Inventory Curse
The Menu card identifies the inventory as the place to equip cursed tools and armor. It also permits selling items, so review what you have selected before clearing equipment. Obtaining a weapon and equipping it are separate steps.
Inventory Curse is obtained with Heavenly Restriction and cycles through Playful Cloud, Split Soul and Inverted Spear of Heaven. You must already own those weapons: Inventory Curse does not grant the three tools. Its card documents a nine-second swap cooldown.
If your objective is to use that rotation, your acquisition checklist therefore contains three separate weapons plus the associated restriction route. Read the Heavenly Restriction guide before treating Inventory Curse as the solution to a missing weapon.
07
Treat Hellsplitter as a seasonal target
Hellsplitter's reviewed route belongs to the limited Halloween 2026 event. The Hellsplitter card documents a Special Grade drop from Undead Monarch's Monarch Chest and a Black Market option costing 300 Ghost Bones. Its listed moves scale with Strength.
This is a seasonal acquisition route, not a permanent promise. Recheck event availability and the exchange after the event changes or ends. If the relevant activity or offer is absent, the documented Halloween route does not establish a different year-round source.
For a useful next step, choose the appropriate category: promotion for Slaughter Demon, the named investigation or raid for its matching tool, a conditional spawn or market check for Inverted Spear of Heaven, or the active Halloween event for Hellsplitter. Then confirm ownership in your inventory before planning an Inventory Curse rotation.
